I have no clue how this place has so many 5 stars. This spot is very mid compared to other places in SD. The ingredients are not always fresh & there’s flies everywhere. Anyways, this was my 2nd time coming here, I ordered a rice noodle bowl with beef. It was fine until I found a piece of plastic on my food. Gross. Anyways I left and came back from doing my nails, I parked right in front of the restaurant & noticed when I got to my car the waiter came out side & took a photo of my me in my car. So weird

I’m torn - this place is such a hidden gem, and I love the family vibe, but I can’t keep it a secret any longer. From the moment you walk in they are just so welcoming. We’re talking the kind of warm that you can’t fake. If you enjoy Vietnamese food, you HAVE to stop here. What makes it special isn’t just one thing - it’s the quality of the food AND the service working together. Both are elite. What really blows me away is that if you don’t show up for 2-3 months, they legit welcome you back like you never left and remember details about you the second you walk through the door. That is crazy good service. Shoutout to Jasmine especially - so sweet, so helpful, and exactly the kind of person that makes you want to come back every week. The whole staff carries that same energy though. You feel it from the moment you sit down. Now let’s talk food. We made it our personal mission to find the best pho - search is officially over. Where do I start...this is a gem that most people miss because of the busy plaza. You HAVE to stop and eat here if you enjoy Vietnamese food. Vietnamese food made especially for you. As you order they begin to prepare it with pride and want you to love the food as you taste it. In college I ate Vietnamese pork BBQ baguettes and spring rolls. Now that I found this place I enjoy the same almost weekly (I go back to days sometimes!). I enjoy Thai Tea with Boba. They have a great selection of smoothies as I has a mango smoothie and it tasted like an actual smoothie not some watered down soft drink. I enjoy the employees as a manager made chicken, shrimp, beef fried rice for me. A hostess was sweet enough to help me find a wonton and egg noodle dish to try. They have food for every craving and time of the year. The resturant has indoor and outdoor seating. I believe you can call in your order. I go in person to get the best experience with employees and other customers. Someone wanting to eat here asked me if the food was good and I told them that I am obsessed! Exceptionally friendly team with a variety of different Vietnamese dishes you wouldn’t come across as often. The staff were thoughtful and helpful, portions were ridiculously generous which made the affordable value even better - not to mention establishment is very organized and clean. I ordered something that wasn’t quite BBH but the broth had depth for the base of pho which I enjoyed as I couldn’t choose between the two. The grilled rice dishes are deliciously seasoned.
